In and Around Dance-Making, a choreography workshop
January 19, 2008, 1-3 p.m.
PVCC Charlottesville, Va. This is a workshop for anyone who is interested in making dances. We will develop material based on  improvisations and other means and  investigate finding forms to embody the vocabulary that emerges from our explorations. We will incorporate working with sound, objects and writing. The workshop begins with a somatic warm-up that cultivates letting go of unnecessary tension, so that we are available and readied for making.
